Cletus Raymond Glissman, June 1, 1928, to October 9, 2011, was a resident of Wetmore, Kansas. Cletus passed away peacefully at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha, Kansas. Cletus was born to Bernard and Agnes Enneking Glissman and raised in Kelly, Kansas, where he attended St. Bede's Catholic School.

Cletus married Mary Wilhelm on June 7, 1949, at St. Bede's Catholic Church in Kelly, Kansas. They moved to a farm north of Wetmore, where they resided for 62 years. Cletus will be forever remembered by his devoted wife, Mary, and beloved children, Juanita McCune, Sharron Williams, Stephen Glissman, Elaine Harrison, Susan Hladky and Gregg Glissman; treasured 12 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, along with countless friends and family who were blessed to know him. He is survived by his sister, Agnes Boden.

Cletus loved hunting, fishing, playing cards and being with his family.

He is preceded in death by four brothers, August, Bernard, Aloysius, and Callistus Glissman, his twin brother; three sisters, Frances Steinlage, Sister Agnes Marie Glissman and Theresa Blocker; two half-brothers, Henry Hunninghake and Leo Hunninghake; three half-sisters, Annie Glissman, Mary Krogman and Betty Kongs; two step-brothers, Albert Korte and Raymond Korte; a son, Joseph, and four grandchildren.

Cletus was dearly loved by his family and will be missed. His caring, loving demeanor will be remembered by all, especially his family, who remembers many Sunday outings with him.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church in Wetmore on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. A visitation will be Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the St. James Catholic Church in Wetmore with parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. The interment will be made in the Wetmore Cemetery.
