She was born Pauline Glissman in 1912, in Kelly, the daughter of Bernard and Agnes Enneking Glissman, and joied the Benedictine Sisters in 1931. She made her profession of vows of relilgion in 1933.
Sister Agnes held a bachelor's degree in education and music from Mt. St. Scholastica College and was an educator 50 years. She taught in parochial schools in Greater Kansas City 17 years and also in elementary schools in Atchison, Lillis, Frankfort, Horton and Kelly, all in Kansas, and in schools in Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska.
Survivors include thre sisters: Betty Kongs, Kelly, Frances Steinlage, Corning and Agnes Boden, Havensville; and four brothers, Cletus Glissman, Wetmore, Gus Glissman, Valley Falls and Callistus and Ben, both in Seneca.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the chapel at Mt. St. Scholastica. Burial will be in the Benedictine Sisters Cemetery in Atchison.
