Funeral Held For Alfred Vornsand,27,Here Thursday

Funeral services for Alfred Vornsand,27,youthful Weimar resident whose death occurred here Tuesday,were held Thursday afternoon at the Hubbard Funeral Home,the Rev.W.A. Flachmeier of Columbus officiating.

The deceased,a son of Mr. and Mrs.Ferd. Vornsand,prominent Weimar area couple,was a native of this section where he was born March 1,1913.In 1935,he was united in marriage to Miss Nora Dahse,a daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Gus Dahse.After the marriage,the couple resided here one year,moved to Beasley where they lived for three years,and later returned and had made this their home for the past year.He had engaged in farming.

In June,he underwent an operation and his untimely passing is believed to have resulted indirectly from this.

To beareved survivors,the Mercury extends sincere sympathy,joining with scores of friends of the family who sympathize deeply with them in the untimely loss of this fine young man.
