Mary Funk, 91, died Sunday at the Russell Kare Center. She was born March 30, 1892, south of Russell in Russell County. She was married to Jacob Funk April 29, 1918, in rural Russell. He died Nov. 23, 1974. They lived on a farm north of Russell near the Saline River until 1959 when they moved to Russell. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Mollie Funk, Tucson, AZ; and Elisabeth Krug of Russell; three grandchildren and three gt. grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wed. at Pohlman's Memorial Chapel, Rev. Herman Frerichs officiating. Burial will be Russell City Cemetery.
