Carrie K. Hellmer was born Dec. 4, 1904, in Jackson County, to George and Mary Margaret (Miller) Hellmer. Survivors include one sister, Olivia Gannon, of Murphysboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Miss Hellmer was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Raddle, St. Ann's Altar Sodality and the Royal Neighbors.
She died at the age of 89 in Jackson County Nursing Home.
