A wedding almost exclusively, deeply solemn occurred at St. Bernard's Church, on Shrove Tuesday at nine o'clock, when Mr. Christopher Bellinder and Magdalena Macht, nee Klein were united in marriage by the pastor, Rev. Father Schwam. Christopher and Magdalena Ziegler were the attending witnesses. Mr. and Mrs. Bellendier will spend some time visiting friends after which they will go to housekeeping in Wamego. All their friends wish them a long and happy life.

Christopher Bellinder 76 died August 8 at Genn Hospital. He was a retired section foreman of the Union Pacific Railroad. Funeral services were August 11 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with the Rev. A. J. Blaufuss in charge. Interment was in Catholic Cemetery.

Christopher Bellinder Dies Friday, Aug. 8.

Christopher Bellinder who was born in Leigtling, a German colony village in Russia, died Friday August 8, at a Wamego hospital. He was born January 20, 1877.

When he was 25 years old he came to the United States and settled near Wamego. In 1903 he was married to Lena Klein Macht and to this union five children were born.

Mrs. Bellinder preceded him in death in 1945 and a son Donald died Feb. 14. 1952.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Everett Dugan, Wamego, Mrs. George A. Bohn, Leavenworth and Mrs. R. H. Mott, Phoenix, Ariz. one son George Bellinder, St. Marys. 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mr. Bellinder was employed by the Union Pacific railroad until a few years ago. He was a faithful member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Wamego, where on August 11 at 9:00 a.m. a requiem Mass was read by Rev. A Blanfuss and burial was made in the Catholic cemetery at Wamego.

He married Magdelena "Lena" Klein Macht Feb. 16, 1904. She died in 1945.

Survived by children: Mrs. Everette Dugan, Mrs. George A. Bohn, Mrs. Ray H. Mott, and George.

A son, Joseph Donald, preceded him in death Feb 14, 1952.

He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad Co. He left their service in 1922 and became self-employed.
