Mr. Gross, 82, a retired carpenter and former owner of the Gross Motel in Clayton, died October 16, 1970.
At the time of his death he was survived by his wife Mary; a daughter, Mrs. Chas. (Maxine) Louth of Dallas City and three grandchildren. Ed was the last of nine children of Phillip and Mary Rineberg Gross.
Funeral services October 19, 1970 with burial in South Side cemetery.
