Hoisington -- Alois L. Kisner, 67, died July 14, 1988 at Hutchinson Hospital.

Born May 20, 1921 at Hays, he married Pauline Waldschmidt July 21, 1942 at Ellis. She died March 27, 1987. He later married Doris L. Hilliard Sept. 29, 1987 at Great Bend.

A floorhand oil field worker for Woodman-Iannitti Dreiling Co., he was a resident of Hoisington since 1962, coming from Ellis. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hoisington, the Hoisington VFW, and was a US Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors wife, of the home; daughters, Rita Mae Brown, Zita Ann Davis, Shirley Ann Jones, all of Hoisington; brothers, Joe Kisner, Greeley, Colo., Isadore Kisner, Hays; sisters, Pauline Herl, Rosie Pfannenstiel, both of Hays; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Rosary will be 7 p.m. Sunday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hoisington, Father Bob Schremmer. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may go to the American Cancer Society.
