On October 19, 1899, at the home of "Professor" and Mrs. John D. Gross in Clayton, Illinois, she married widower John T. Little, formerly of Clayton, who was the son of Joseph and Mary Little. Mr. Little was the head miller for Model Mills in Mt. Sterling, Illinois. The bride's younger sister, Lula Eugene Gross, played the wedding march.
For the final two years of his life, Mr. and Mrs. Little cared for her father, "Professor" John D. Gross, at their home in Alexander in Morgan County, Illinois.
