NESS CITY - Margaret Dorothea Tittel, 97,
died Jan. 4, 1997,at Larned Health Care
and Living Center.

She was born May 12, 1899, at Wilson, the
daughter of John and Anna Elizabeth Friebus.

A resident of Ness County since 1919, she
was a homemaker.

She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran
Church at Ness City.

On Nov. 2, 1919, she married Albert John
Tittel at Bazine. died Mar. 2,1982.

Survivors include: two sons, Ben Tittel,
Ness City, and Elmer Tittel, Scott City;
two daughters, Hulda Dye, Ness City, and
Emma Jones, Larned: a sister, Agnes Tittel,
Ness City; 13 grandchildren; and 20
great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at
Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, with
the Revs. Elwin Bergstracsser and Rev.
Richard Graves presiding. Burial will be in
the Ness City Cemetery. Memorials may be
sent to the church in care of the funeral home
