Traugott E. Friebus, 76, Wilson, died Wednesday, May 18, 1983 at the Ellsworth County Veterans Memorial Hospital, Ellsworth.
He was born March 6, 1907 in Russell County and was a retired carpenter and stonemason.
Surviving are his wife, Effie, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Vopat, Wilson, and Mrs. Gene Keller, Salina; a brother, Ted, Greeley, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Theresa Galliart [Galliardt], Wilson, Mrs. Agnes Tittel, and Mrs. Margaret Tittel, both of Ness City; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Friday, May 20, at the Stiles Mortuary Chapel, Wilson, the Rev. Dan Friberg officiating. Burial was in the Wilson City Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the Wilson Ambulance Fund.
