WILLIAM BEUNING - Obit
William Beuning, one of the pioneer settlers of Freeport, died at 8 P.M. Monday at the farm home of his son, George, three miles north of Freeport. He was 82 years of age and was born in Oldenburg, Germany, coming to this country at an early age.
Mrs. Beuning is dead. Surviving children are Henry St. Rose; Ben, Albany; Mrs. Ben Ballman, Freeport; Herman, St. Francis; Mrs. Henry Vogel, St. Paul; Dr. John Beuning, St. Cloud; and George at home.
There is a brother, Herman, in Cincinnati, Ohio; and a sister Mrs. Josephine Schulte, Freeport.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock with internment in the Freeport cemetery. The requiem will be in Sacred Heart church.
