The funeral of John Visser was held last Friday at the home and in the 1st Reformed church with Rev. Colenbrander in charge.
Mr. Visser, 85 years old, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. Kalsbeek, after a lingering illness due to old age.
He is survived by his wife and five children, Art Visser of Grand Rapids, Mich., who was unable to be here but has been recently to visit his parents, Jennie, Mrs. Jake Harms, and Anna, Mrs. Wm. Duitsman, both of Clara City, Minn., Dora, Mrs. W. Kalsbeek and Reka, Mrs. Dick Muilenburg, both of Orange City, also one brother, Klass Visser of Clara City; Minn.
Others who attended besides the children and brother were Mr. and. Mrs. W. Visser and son of Corsica; Mr. and Mrs. K. Visser, Mr. and Mrs. Art Visser and Mr. and Mrs. Swets,
all of Prinsburg, Minn., Mr. John Groeu and daughter of Ireton, Mrs. J. Van Houten of Clara City.
Mrs. Visser at the Kalsbeek home Is getting along very well.
