Mrs. Albert Wechorek, 69, resident of this city for the past 36 years, died as the result of a complication of ailments this morning at her home, 504 North Central Ave.
Although Mrs. Wechorek had been ailing the past year, she had not been seriously ill until yesterday morning. Her death came suddenly and as a shock to her family.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at St. John's Catholic Church with the Right Reverend Monsignor A. J. Dorrenbach. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery (Gate of Heaven).
Until the time of the funeral body will lie in state at the Baer-Lang-Rembs Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be conducted Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Wechorek, nee Mary Martin (WIECZOREK), was born in Ripon on September 26, 1865. She was married on August 11, 1890 Albert Wechorek in Ripon (actually Manistee, Michigan). The couple came to Marshfield 36 years ago, residing on a farm near here for several years before moving to the city of Marshfield.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, Marty, Fond du Lac; John, city; and Edward, Waterloo, Iowa; and two daughters, Betty at home, and Mrs. William (Lucille)Scannell, Chicago.
Other surviving relatives include two sisters, Mrs. Rose Robst, Wauwatosa, and Mrs. Joseph McNamee, Bakerville; two brothers, Edward Martin, Wauwatosa, and Andrew Martin, Oshkosh; and eight grandchildren.
Mrs. Wechorek was a member of the Altar Society and the Third Order of St. John's Church.
