Word was received last Monday of the death of Mrs. Paul Meiers, Sherry, which occurred that day at the tuberculosis sanitarium at Wales, Wisconsin. She had been ailing for several months and was taken to the sanitarium in January where she remained until her death.
Mrs. Meiers moved to Sherry with her parents nine years ago. She has made her home there ever since. She was married in 1915 to Paul Meiers and they commenced life together on his farm in Sherry. She is survived by her husband and five little children, the youngest a daughter, being only a few months old. She also leaves her mother and father, two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were held Saturday and the body laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery at Sherry Station.
