As did all the members of the family Martin changed the spelling of the original spelling WEICZOREK or WECHOREK.

Funeral services for Martin Frank Mechorek, died Monday, were held at 10 AM today at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Nome, Rev. LeRoy Boehlen officiating. Burial was in Rienzi Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Eric Schultz, Gordon Rock, David Haack, Melvin Beaster, Thomas Moore and Lawrence Chapman.

Trier-Puddy Post 75 of the American Legion conducted gravesite rites with Floyd Jones and Joseph Karst, color bearer; William Greene and Don Kinney, color guard, Edson Stubbs, John Pitas, Thomas Corcorhan, Henry Rucks, T. Edward Sullivan and Leo Marco, firing detail; Robert Samuel, bugler; Victor Brown, chaplain; and L. F. McEnroe, commander. County Service Officer Howard Hinckley also took part.

RETIRED RAIL EMPLOYEE DIES AT AGE OF 71

SERVICES SCHEDULED FOR M. F. MECHOREK, WAR VETERAN

Martin Frank Mechorek, 71, a resident of 1012 Wisconsin Ave., North Fond du lac, died at 5;15 a.m. today at St. Agnes Hospital.

Mr. Mechorek was born Nov. 3, 1894, in Manistee, Mich., the son of Albert and Mary Martin Wechorek. A veteran of World War I, he was employed as a switchman for the North Western Railroad for 45 years before retirement.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. B. L. McCork, North Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Lucille Scannell, Chicago, and one brother, Edward, Houston, Tex.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, Rev. LeRoy Boehlen officiating. Burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery.
