Funeral services for Alfred F. Tullberg, age 89, of 808 Water St., Albert Lea, MN., will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 12, 1986 at First Presbyterian Church in Albert Lea. Rev. Elmer Bates will officiate. Burial will be at the Bohemian National Cemetery at Myrtle, MN. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Bayview Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church.
Mr. Tullberg died Thursday night at St. John's Lutheran Home.
Alfred F. Tullberg was born in Tigerton, Wisconsin, April 17, 1897, the son of Olaf and Oline Tullberg. He married Anna Belshan on July 6, 1953 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He had lived all of his married life in the same home in Albert Lea, was a mail carrier for 23 years in Albert Lea, a veteran of WWI, and a member of the American Legion No. 56.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; son, Allen and his wife Barbara, all of Albert Lea; two grandchildren, Brenda and Bradley; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents; brother, Carl Tullberg; sister, Hedda Tullberg; four half brothers, Holger, Henry, Harry and Gusfaf; one step-brother, Einer.
