Katherine Wambolt, 84, of Brighton, died Dec. 9 at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton.
Services were Dec. 13 at Zion Congregational Church in Brighton.
She was born Sept. 24, 1905, in Sugar City. She married Henry Wambolt Jan. 23, 1924, in Brighton.
Mrs. Wambolt was a member of the Zion Congregational Church and was active in the Zion Women's Fellowship. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1985 and two sons, Marvin in 1982 and LaVerne in 1986.
Survivors are: sons, Otto Wambolt of Dillon and Milton Wambolt of Brighton; daughters, Joyce Zink and Beverly Bucci of Brighton, Judy Reale of Denver and Janice Baker of Castro Valley, Calif; brothers, Henry Whitman of Denver, Ben Whitman of Greeley, Jake Whitman of Platteville and Carl Whitman of Billings, Mont; sisters, Mary Heil and Lydia Maul of Longmont, Eva Schott of Brighton, Mollie Reiswig of Aurora, Emma Becker of Denver and Margaret Fisher of Hutchinson, Kan; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Pallbearers were Larry Wambolt, Todd Wambolt, Dean Zink, Jerry Bucci, Jeff Baker and Kevin Baker.
Honorary pallbearers were Greg Wambolt and Fred Wambolt.
Memorials can be made in her name to Zion Congregational Church.
Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery in Brighton. Olinger Highland Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
