Milton C. Wambolt, 79, died July 22, 2014, at his home in Brighton. Born October 12, 1934, to Henry and Katherine (Koch) Wambolt in Gering, NE. When he was nine years old, the family moved to the family farm in Platteville. In 1954, he entered the U.S. Army and served in Europe. After being separated from the army he worked for Frontier Refining Co. and attended University of Denver studying accounting. On July 8, 1956 he married Barbara Forster in Hillsboro, ND. They had three children. She died in 1967. On December 30, 1967, he married Mary Ann Crotty in Mallard, Iowa. She died in 2005. In 1968, Frontier merged with Husky Co and the family moved to Cody, WY. He worked for Husky for 28 years in various accounting department positions

Survivors included: children Larry (Julie), Westminster, Sharon (Michael) Schaubs, Littleton, and Deborah Fredrickson, Groton, SD; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Memorial Services held July 29 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home.
