Mrs. Veronica Zimmer, 39, of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, died early morning at Two Rivers Municipal hospital, where she had been a patient for only a day. She had been in failing health for some time.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Klein & Stangel, Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. Glen Ochs officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Zimmer, nee Veronica Braun, was born at Whitelaw on Sept. 28, 191?, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Grall Braun. She was married at Whitelaw in 1939 to Arthur Zimmer. He husband died on the Rt. 1, Two Rivers farm in 1952, after being thrown from a tractor. Since the family lived on the Grimm farm on Rt. 1, Two Rivers.
Surviving Mrs. Zimmer are a daughter, Miss Florence Zimmer at home; five sons, Marvin, Dennis, Stanley, Reuben and Glenn Zimmer at home; five sisters, Mrs. Clara Schuh of Kiel, Mrs. Margaret Zimmerman of Sheboygan, Mrs. Querin Swetlik of Kellnersville, Mrs. Elmer Neuser of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Paul Pakenham of Chicago, and three brothers, John Braun of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, Joseph of Manitowoc, and Frank Braun of Cato.
Mrs. Zimmer had been a member of the Third Order of St. Francis of St. Luke Church.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Sunday where the Rosary will be
recited at 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
