Emil Fink was born in the small town of Kane Wyoming on May 20th 1927 to John D. and Emilia (Bendenwald) Fink. He died in Lovell Wyoming on July 6th 2014 at the respectable age of 87.

Emil grew up in Lovell and graduated from Lovell High School. He married his sweet wife Yvonne (Wambeke) on January 12th 1952 and had three children. Emil worked as a farmer for most of his life and worked for the city of Lovell for ten years before he retired. Emil had a passion for FFA and loved to work in his garden. He was known for having a green thumb. He was an avid reader and a good provider for his family. Knowing Emil was knowing you were in the presence of a good man who was quick to smile and make you laugh.

Emil was preceded in death by his parents John D. and Emilia Fink, his wife Yvonne, and his brothers John, Carl, Gottlieb, Sol, Daniel, and William.

He is survived by his brother Alfred, as well as his sisters Marie Doerr, and Bertha Gernant. He is also survived by his children Patricia Mettlin, Mike Fink, and Michelle Shannor. Emil is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

The services will be at the Lutheran church in Lovell on July 10th 2014. The viewing will be in the Fellowship Hall at the church at 9 am and the service in the chapel at 10. Burial will follow immediately afterwards at the Lovell Cemetery.
