Carl J. Fink, 88, died Thursday, October 12, 2000 at North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell after a lengthy illness. He was born July 12, 1912 at Kane, Wyoming, the son of John D. and Emilia BenddeWalt Fink. He attended the Lovell schools and graduated from Lovell High School.

He married Marie Kober July 2, 1938 in Billings, Montana. They moved from the Kane area to a farm southwest of Lovell where they farmed for many years. Marie died September 8, 1997. Carl was a lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Carl is survived by a son, John of Lovell; daughter, Hayla Farwell of Lovell; two sisters, Marie Doerr of Lovell and Bertha Gernant of Greybull; six brothers, John D. Jr., Gottlieb, Danny, William, and Emil all of Lovell and Alfred of Worland; 3 grandchildren, Kim Martin, Shane Farwell, and Terri Garcia; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Saturday, October 14, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Chris Brandt officiating. Interment of cremains was in the Lovell Cemetery.
