Marie Doerr, 95, died Monday, June 22, 2015, at Better Place Adult Family Home in Puyallup, Wash.
She was born May 21, 1920, in Kane to John D. Fink and Emilie Bindewald. She was the sixth of 10 children.
She attended school in Lovell and completed school through the eighth grade. She enjoyed being an aunt to her many nieces and nephews, and spent many years working with her brother Solomon Fink at the Lovell Highland Grocery store.
She married Alvin Doerr of Lovell on Nov. 7, 1958. They had one child, a daughter, Rochelle. After Alvin died in 2001, she moved to Puyallup to live with her daughter and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Rochelle, and her husband Guy Atkins; granddaughters Carmen of Puyallup and Melanie (Atkins) McDonald of Tacoma; brother Alfred of Powell and sister Bertha Gernant of Billings. She is also survived by one sister-in law, Babe (Julia) Fink of Lovell, and several nieces and nephews.
