Mrs. Langenbach was born in Lexemburg on Jan. 1st, 1835 and came to this country with her parents in 1846. The family settled in Theresa, where deceased was married on May 24, 1855 to John Langenbach, who preceded her in death April 26, 1916. About 50 years ago the family moved to this city and made their home on North German Street. Since the death of her husband she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. L. S. Keeley, until a few months ago, when she lived with her eldest daughter Mrs. August Ruedebusch. The children surviving her are the following: Mrs. August Ruedebusch, Mrs. L. S. Keeley, Mrs. Ed. Sauerhering, Robert J. Langenbach, all of this city; Alfred and Carl Langenbach at LaCrosse, Armand Langenbach at West Bend. Besides these she leaves her aged sister, Mrs. Susanne Kremer at Fond du Lac.
Funeral services were held Monday morning from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Aug. Ruedebusch to St. Mary's Catholic church, with burial in the adjoining cemetery, the Rev. Father Kremer officiating. The following relatives acted as pall bearers: Carl and Adolph Sauerhering, Clarence Keeley, Richard Schneider, Wm. Rueping, Richard Ruedebusch.
Following is a list of the out-of-town relatives and friends who attended the funeral of the late Mrs. John Langenbach: Wm. Rueping, Richard Ruedebusch, B. A. Husting, Mrs. Susanne Kremer, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Kremer, Mr. and Mrs. L. Dana, Mrs. Julia Wolters, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Muenchow, all of Fond du Lac, Richard Schneider, and Mrs. Eudoxie Fickert of Milwaukee; Clarence Keeley of Chicago, Mrs. Marie Weber, Alexa, Bertram and Arnold Weber of Theresa, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Husting, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wilms, Waupun, Max Husting, Fargo, N. D., Mr. and Mrs. Leo Husting, Oshkosh.
