Mrs. L. S. Keeley, 84 year old pioneer resident of this city, died Sunday at 7 p. m. in the Keeley home on North German street where she spent most of her life. She had been in failing health for a year, and a four-day illness resulted in her death.

Mrs. Keeley was born in New Castle, now Campbellsport, on Jan. 14, 1859, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Langenbach. On Aug. 9, 1892, she was married in this city to Lawrence S. Keeley, who served as the head of the Mayville schools for many years. They built the home on North German street which they occupied during their many years of married life, and Mr. Keeley died there on Aug. 30, 1932.

When the Mayville Woman's club was formed, Mrs. Keeley became one of the active members. When failing health prevented her from taking an active interest, she was made an honorary member.

Surviving are the children, Miss Margaret, of Milwaukee; Clarence of New York; Lawrence of West Bend; and Helen, Mrs. J. B. Gahagen, of Elm Grove. One brother, Armand G. Langenbach of West Bend, and four grandchildren also remain.

Last rites were held this morning (Wednesday) from the Koepsell Funeral home to St. Mary's Catholic church, of which she was a faithful member for so many years. The Rev. R. A. Kramer officiated, and interment was made in the new parish cemetery.
