Mrs. Mathilda Kuechenberg, aged 62 years, passed away in death at about 8:30 A. M. Monday at the home of her mother, Mrs. John Langenbach, German St., this city, of paralysis after a lingering illness. She had been confined to her bed for the past month.

She was born in this city 1860 and was united in marriage to Peter Kuechenberg in 1888. Three years later they moved to Waupun where they owned and managed the National Hotel from 1891 to 1905. Later they had charge of a private boarding house until about three years ago when Mr. Kuechenberg died. For the past few years she had made her home with her aged mother in this city.

Surviving her are one daughter, Miss Marie of Milwaukee, her mother, Mrs. John Langenbach of this city, four brothers, Carl and Alfred of La Crosse, Robert of this city and Armond of West Bend; three sisters, Mrs. August Ruedebusch, Mrs. L. S. Keeley and Mrs. Ed. Sauerhering, all of this city.

The body was taken to Waupun this morning and funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic church, the Rev. Paul Schaffel will officiate. Burial will take place in the Catholic cemetery.
