Mrs. Eva Wamboldt

Mrs. Eva Wamboldt, of 1718 Ninth avenue died Thursday morning at her home at the age of 78.

She was born Oct. 21, 1879 at Dietel, Russia, and married Henry Wamboldt Dec. 27, 1900 in Russia. They came to Garden City, Kan., in 1907, the following year to Fort Collins, Colo., and to Scotts Bluff county in 1909.

They farmed in the county until 1946 when they retired and moved to Scottsbluff.

Mrs. Wamboldt was a member of the Emmanuel Congregational church here.

Survivors in addition to her husband include four sons, Henry, Jr. of Brighton, George of Huntley, Alex of Moses Lake, Wash., and Carl of Henry; a daughter, Mrs. Reinnie Libsack of National City, Calif.; 34 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Emmanuel Congregational Church, the Rev. Henry Schneider officiating. They will be preceded by a family prayer service at 1:30 p.m. at the Benson funeral home.

Burial will be in Fairview.
