Emil Brandt died at Faribault, Monday, April 15, 1918. The deceased was born at New Ulm, June 9, 1886. His parents were Julius and Minna Berndt.
In an accident with which he met while about 4 years old his spine was injured. This retarded the development of his mental powers. About 15 years ago he was sent to an institution at Faribault. of which he was an inmate at the time of his death.
He leaves besides his aged mother, the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Wm Pfaender, Julia and August, of New Ulm; Mrs Chas. Davin, Springfield, Julius Berndt, St. Peter; Rudolph in Minneapolis; Robert in Huron, S. Dak., and Mrs. W. B. Greig of Windom, Minn.
The funeral was held from the home of his mother on South Minnesota Street. Interment was made at the city cemetery.
