Janet Marie Linenberger, 66, died Monday, July 6, 2015, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
She was born Oct. 2, 1948, in Garden City, to Peter William and Rose Mary Brungardt Burgardt.
A lifetime resident of Finney County, Mrs. Linenberger worked as a bookkeeper and was a homemaker all of her life.
On May 4, 1968, she married John Linenberger in Garden City. He survives. Other survivors include three children, Robert Linenberger, Jonathan Linenberger and Shawna Linenberger, all of Garden City; a brother, Michael Burgardt of Tacoma, Wash.; and three sisters, Patricia Briggs and Laurie Gerber, both of Garden City, and Coleen Burgardt of Logan, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Burgardt.
Mass of resurrection will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. Vigil service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Inurnment will be held at Sunset Memorial Garden immediately following the funeral Mass.
