Godfrey Winter, 49, a farmer living north of Eaton, died at his home Friday [Oct. 5, 1956].
Winter was born in Russia, May 28, 1907. He had lived in Weld County 43 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church and the Greeley Elks lodge.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Cornelia [Giesick] Winter, and two sons; also by his father, Fred Winter of Windsor and the following brothers and sisters: David and Fred Winter Jr., both of Eaton; Jacob Winter of Galeton, George Winter and Mrs. Katie Winder and Mrs. Millie Schott all of Windsor, and Mrs. Margaret Winder of Fort Morgan. There are two grandchildren.
