Jacob Winter, 76, 518 16th St., died Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Kenton Manor Nursing Home.

Born July 4, 1901, in Russia, he came with his parents to the United States in 1911, settling at Windsor. He then went to Eaton where he farmed.

On Jan. 25, 1925, he married Hannah Winter at Windsor. They retired in 1965 and moved to Greeley.

He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Windsor.

Survivors in include his wife, Hannah; five daughters, Mrs. Don (Violet) Grebb of Quincy, Wash., Mrs. Elmer (Marge) Becker of Denver, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Kerns of Greeley, Mrs. Steve (Joann) Cecil of Eaton and Miss Linda Winter of Severance; three sons, Harold, Ronald and Richard, all of Greeley; two brothers, Dave and George Winter, both of Greeley; two sisters, Mrs. Millie Schott of Greeley and Mrs. Katie Winter of Windsor; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Two sons; two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Adamson Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.--Greeley Tribune, Wednesday, Feb. 22, 1978
