Albert William Artzer, 78, 610 N. Topeka, died Monday at the home of his son, Eugene Artzer, 815 N. Harrison.
He was born Nov. 18, 1882 in Topeka and lived here here all his life.
He was a retired bridge builder and a member of St. Joseph's Church.
Survivors include three sons, Eugene, 615 N. Harrison, Gerald, 1828 N. Fillmore, and Wilbert, 1936 N. Polk; three daughters, Mrs. Mary L. Dennis, 409 W. Curtis, Mrs. Wilma Sams, 813 N. Monroe, and Mrs. Dorothy Marquez, of Phoenix, Ariz., one brother, Adam Artzer, 514 N. Harrison; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Olferman, 517 N. Jackson, and Mrs. Emma Salyer of Denver, Colo.; 28 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 8 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Brennan Funeral Home. The parish rosary will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
