Mrs. Veronica Artzer, 57, of 610 North Topeka Avenue, was killed and three other perons injured yesterday morning when a motorcar driven by Rodendo Anguiano, 122 North Jefferson Street, turned over on Highway No. 50-N about two miles west of Osage City.

Anguiano was taking Mrs. Artzer to Hutchinson to visit a son. There were four other persons in the car. Witnesses told officers, Anguiano lost control of the car and it went into a ditch and turned over twice.

Anguiano, his son, John, and Anthony Martinez, 220 Hancock Street, were brought to St. Francis Hospital. Martinez, suffering a broken hip and possible internal injuries, afterwards was taken to Santa Fe Hospital. Anguiano was severely injured. His son was badly bruised but apparently escaped serious injury.

Mrs. Artzer was born in Topeka, and had been a resident here all of her life.
