Mrs. Catherine Marie Desch Allendorf, 84, 620 N. Topkea Avenue, died Wednesday at a Topeka hospital. She was born Oct. 25, 1898 at Topeka, the daughter of Adam and Elizabeth Youngkein Desch, and lived at Topeka all her life.

Her husband, Jacob George Allendorf, died Oct. 13, 1979. She also was
preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Dixie Pummel, and a son, Velmar G. Allendorf.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Darlene Chrysler, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Delores Walker and Mrs. Lucille Currier, both of Topeka; three sons, Robert Allendorf, Meriden, LaVerne Jacob Allendorf, Topeka, and Raymond Allendorf of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Guyer, Mrs. Helen Livingston and Mrs. Marian Holoway, all of Topeka; a brother, Jacob Desch Sr., Topeka; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be Friday at Brennan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Topeka. Mrs. Allendorf will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
