Fred Miller, 62, passed away at North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell of a heart attack on Friday, January 11, 1974. Mr. Miller was born in Keyhoff, Russia on March 14, 1912, to Mr. Gottfried Miller and Sophie Fink Miller. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Lovell and was engaged in farming. He has been a resident of Big Horn County since early childhood. He married Ruth Lydia Spomer in Lovell, Wyoming on December 12, 1936. He enlisted in the Wyoming National Guard when he was 27 years old and was discharged in 1940.

In addition to his wife Ruth of Cowley, he is survived by four sons, Carnie Dale of Powell, Donald D. of Pinedale, Wyoming, Bill of Cowley, and Cecil Dean also of Cowley; one daughter, Mrs. Myrna Jones of Casper, Wyoming; one brother, John of Lovell; six sisters, Mrs. John Fink Jr. of Lovell, Mrs. Ben Spomer of Powell, Mrs. Herrick Harrison of Lovell, Mrs. John Gams of Deaver, Mrs. Paul Schierkolk of Riverton, and Mrs. Sophia Panasuk of Bainville, Montana; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral Services are pending. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
