HELENA LAKE DIES TUESDAY
Aged Resident of Community Passes at 95

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock for Mrs. Helena Lake, who was 95 years old on August 18 of last year.

The Parish rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Tuecke funeral home.

The services will be held at St. Mary's church here with Rev. Alfred J. Schmitz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery in charge of the Tuecke funeral home.

Mrs. Lake died Tuesday morning at a convalescent home following a long illness.

Mrs. Lake was born on August 18, 1873, in Guttenberg, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Tieke. On October 2, 1894, she was married to Benjamin Lake in Guttenberg. Mr. Lake died October 9, 1935.

Surviving Mrs. Lake are three sons and three daughters, Al J. Lake, Guttenberg; Mrs. J. T. Kuempel, Guttenberg; Mrs. Charles Tillia of Jackson, Minnesota; Edward Lake of Chicago, Illinois; Dr. A. B. Lake of Marion, and Mrs. D. E. Meder of Guttenberg.

Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren.
