Eldest surviving son of William Sr. and Catherina Bergman Siemen. He married Mary Elizabeth "Mame" Richards in Galena, IL on March 14, 1901. Their children were twin sons who were born and died in November 1902, Leona Kathryn Siemen (1905-1969), Verles Dulancy Siemen (1906-1964), and an unnamed son who was born and died on May 10, 1914. Mame also died on this day as a result of complications of his birth. William never remarried and raised his daughters on his farm in Woodbine.
