Surviving, in addition to her husband, Albert, are a son, Albert and wife Rochelle of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Albert and Adam; a sister, Helen Chester of Anita; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Della was born May 14, 1903, in Cass County, the beloved daughter of Peter and Julia Larson Stender. She married Albert E. Holcomb on June 16, 1937, in Pueblo Colorado. Della was a teacher in Perry, Ottumwa, and Burlington for several years. She was a 1928 graduate of Drake University and a member of First Presbyterian Church, PEO GM Chapter, College Club, and the Cedar Rapids Dental Auxiliary. She loved reading, needlework, travel, and her family.
Della was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
