Tours Farmer Found Dead – Frank Ondrej, Tours farmer, 34 years of age, was found dead near the Pareya Gin at Tours last Friday at about noon. A resident of Tours made the discovery. Justice of the Peace A. W. Janek conducted the inquest and returned a verdict of suicide by hanging.
Members of Ondrej's family stated that the dead man left home the previous Tuesday and when he did not come back they thought he was visiting relatives. They did not see him from the time he left until the body was found under a small mesquite tree in the rear of the gin, a belt looped around his neck and the loose end tied to a branch of the tree.
Deceased was a native of Texas and had lived in the Tours community practically all his life. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Cemetery at 10 a.m. on February 13th.
