FREDDIE MANGELSDORF DEAD
Frederick S. Mangelsdorf, ten years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Mangelsdorf, 417 Parallel street, died yesterday morning at 6:30 o'clock, at his home. Death was due to Bright's disease, with which the child became afflicted five years ago. He made a brave fight, and at times was a great sufferer, though always an uncomplaining one. The last attack began early in December, when Frederick was obliged to stop school. Three years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Mangelsdorf took their son to Dr. Billings, a specialist in Chicago, and later took him to the Mayos in Rochester, Minn., but they gave them no hope of his recovery. The funeral was held this afternoon at 4 o'clock, from the Mangelsdorf residence, the Rev. Walter Harman conducting the service. Interment in Mount Vernon.
