Arnieta Lustig Dies: Funeral is Tuesday
Mrs Lawrence (Arnieta Lustig), 69, of 503 East Section Effingham died unexpectedly at her home 11:45 pm Saturday.
She was born July 28, 1902 in Dieterich, the daughter of Nicholas and Anna Barcum Hutmacher. Her husband Lawrence preceded her in death. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary and the Altar Sodality.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs Gerry Fasig, Hoffman Estates; Mrs Lyle Skillman, Vienna, VA; sons, Harold, Seagonville, Tex; Burnell and Arthur, both of Effingham; Larry, Vacaville, Calif; Sister, Mrs Louis (Lucille) Buennemeyer, Effingham; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Two sisters and eight brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Tuesday in Sacred Heart Church, Effingham. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Dieterich.
Friends may call after 2 pm today at the Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. The rosary will be recited at 8 pm .

Lawrence Lustig and Miss Arnieta Hutmacher were joined in holy matrimony Monday morning at 7 o'clock at the Dieterich Catholic Church, by the pastor, Rev Oscar Wernet. -Miss-Dorothy Hutmacher, a sister of the bride and Gerry Lustig, a cousin of the groom were the attendants.
The bride Is one of Dieterich's most popular young ladies, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Hutmacher. The groom is the son of Jos Lustig northeast of Dieterich and is ail excellent young man of industrious habits. The happy couple will reside on a farm near Dieterich. The newly weds were visitors in this city Monday afternoon.
The Press extends hearty congratulations and good wishes to the young couple on their new pilgrimage.

Mr and Mrs Lawrence Lustig, 505 East Section avenue Effingham celebrated their silver wedding anniversary Sunday. A dinner was served at noon to approximately 50 relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs, Lustig are both former residents of Dietrich. They were married in the Immaculate Conception Church in that town. Mrs Lustig is the former Arnieta Hutmacher, daughter of the late Nick and Anna Hutmacher, of Dieterich. They have lived in Effingham the past 22 years and are the parents of six children: Harold Lustig of East St Louis, and Burnell, Arthur, Ann Louise, Larry and Marjorie, all of Effingham.
Attending the celebration were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lustig and sons of East St Louis; Mr and Mrs Arthur Lustig of Effingham; Mrs. Dorothy J Culp, Mr and Mrs Louis Buermeycr And family, Mr and Mrs J. Niehaus, Mr and Mrs Charles Burrell, Robert Culp and Dorothy Landwehr, all of Effingham; Mr. and Mrs. John Casselman of Decatur, Butonne Kingery of Jewett, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hutmacher and Mr and Mrs Ed Hutmacher of Dieterich, and Mr and Mrs Edgar Lustig and family of Wheeler.
