Charles and Charlene were married on June 15, 1951 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. They resided on the home farm that Charles was born on.
They had two sons; Steven Paul and Mark David.
Charles served on the Buffalo Center Creamery Board. Charlene served on the Lakota Public Library Board.
