Mr. Hahn was born Nov. 27, 1887 to Mr. and Mrs. Christian Hahn near Tripp. Him and his wife Rosina farmed near Tripp until 1947 when they retired and moved into the city of Tripp. She died in 1963.
Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Alvin DeWald of Mitchell and Mrs. R. E. Melhaff of Worthing, S. D.; one sister, Emma Winckler of Tyndall and four brothers, Henry, Gottlieb, Emmanuel of Tripp and William of Colome, S. Dak.
Also surviving are six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services wee held Sept. 5 at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Tripp where he was a member, with the Rev. Rueben Martin Officiating at the 10:00 a.m. service.
Organist was Delilah Hahn and Soloist, Walt Spomer.
Pallbearers were Arnold DeWald, Erwin Maag, Ruben Hieb, John Reiser, Eldon Hahn and Ted. A. Schnabel.
Interment was at Gracehill Cemetery under direction of Petrik Funeral Home.
