Funeral services for Mrs. Otto (Emma) Winckler, 79, Tyndall, were held Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 14,at the Immanuel Reformed Church, rural Tripp with Rev. Henry Roemer officiating. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery with pallbearers being, Harold Raabe, Robert Vellek, Orville Dingman, Harold Davis, Howard Davis, Howard Livingston and Ray Stepka.

She was born at Tripp to Mr. and Mrs. Christ Hahn August 7, 1898 and married Otto Winckler at Tripp March 2, 1922. They farmed in the Tripp and the Tyndall community until moving to Tyndall in 1966. She passed away at St. Michael's Hospital, Monday Sept. 12, 1977.

Surviving are 6 children, Edna, Mrs. Albert Rokusek, Tyndall; Alvin, Tyndall; Arthur, Yankton; Melvin, Tyndall; Agnes, Mrs. Bernard Pletka, Tyndall; and Hilda, Mrs Robert Tycz, Tyndall; 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 4 brothers, Emanuel, Henry and Gottlieb Hahn, Tripp and William Hahn, Colome, S. Dak. Preceding her in death was her husband in 1968, 1 infant child, 1 brother and 1 sister.
