Amanda worked outside her home and tried several professions. Amanda was a religiously and socially committed woman. She did not marry until she was 36 and she got one son.

I believe Amanda, her husband and son felt happy together. Even though their economy was not large they could buy things that embellished their lives. Sadly Amanda suffered from stomach pains for many years.
