Mia's way through life was a bit winding. As a woman of 26 she married a thirty years older man. After only four years of marriage he died. Another four years passed before she remarried her brother-in-law. Sharing a religious interest and what I guess a happy relationship gave them many good years together.

Mia seems to have been a kind-hearted person and the one who took care of their old mother Matilda.
