Miss Flemming Rites Held at Janesville
Miss Elsa Elizabeth Flemming of Janesville, passed away at the home of her nephew, Lester Flemming in Freedom Township on Turesday morning, Feb. 5 at seven O'clock. She had been ill for several months, death having been caused by cancer.
The deceased was born on May 18, 1895 in Freedom Township and was a daughter of the late Michael and Emilie Flemming. She lived on a farm her entire lifetime and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church in Freedom.
Surviving are the following sisters and brothers: Miss Minnie Flemming, Janesville; Art Flemming, Janesville; Mrs. Fred Degner, Waseca, and Mrs. Richard Kroll, Waseca.
Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon, Feb. 8 at one o'clock from the home and at 1:30 at the Immanuel Lutheran church in Freedom with the Rev. E. H. C. Mueller conducting the services. Interment will be made in the Freedom cemetery. Pall bearers were six nephews of the deceased, namely, Lester Flemming, Elmer Degner, Alvin Flemming, Lyle Flemming, Marvin Flemming and Harold Radke.
