Alvina Kroll Services on Thursday
Alvina Eilhelmina Kroll, 77, of Janesville, died Tuesday morning at Immanuel Hospital in Mankato. She had been ill for two weeks. Death was due to a diabetic condition.
She was born December 2, 1885 in Freedom Township, Waseca County, the daughter of Michael and Aemilie Schunke Flemming, and later attended county schools.
In 1921 she married Richard Kroll at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Freedom Township. Her husband preceded her in death in August, 1957. The couple had no children.
Survivors include one brother, Arthur Flemming, two sisters, Miss Minnie Flemming and Mrs. Fred (Lydia) Drager, all of Janesville and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. G. Malling at 2 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Freedom with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation may be made at the Arnoldt Funeral Home in Janesville Wednesday and until noon Thursday, at which time the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until the hour of services.
Nephews of the deceased will service as pallbearers.
