Services Held Tues. For Richard Kroll
Richard Christian Kroll, 73, Janesville, died Saturday, August 17, as a result of a stroke. Services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Arnoldt Funeral Home, Janesville and at the Immanuel Lutheran church with the Rev. Carl Gunderman officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were six nephews, Bernard Kroll, Elmer Dagner, Marvin Flemming, Lester Flemming, Alvin Flemming and Lyle Flemming.
Richard Kroll was born in Berlin, Germany October 11, 1883, a son of Henry and Marie Kroll. When fifteen years old he came to Waseca country and engaged in farming.
In March 1921 he married Alvina Flemming of Freedom. The couple moved to Janesville about four years ago.
He is survived by his wife and five brothers, Ferdinand Kroll of Pemberton, Henry, Sioux City, IA., Hans and Carl, Janesville, and Claus of Salem, Oregon.
