Mrs. Philomena Feldmann

Mrs. Philomena Feldmann, 75, widow of Joseph Feldman, died at 2:10 pm Friday at the home of her son, Al Feldman, 434 W. 16th street, after a lingering illness.

Friends may call at the Hoffmann mortuary. The funeral will be held at 9 am Monday to St. Patrick's church, with burial in St. Francis cemetery, Dyersville.

Mrs. Feldmann was born Sept. 19, 1872, at New Vienna, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Fangmann.

She lived at Dyersville until 1919, when the family moved to Lamotte, and came to Dubuque about 20 years ago.

She was a member of the Catholic church, attending St. Patrick's, and was a member of the Rosary society.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. A.M. (Louise) Konrardy of Waterloo, Mrs. Edward (Martha) Farni of Dubuque and Mrs. Carl (Florence) Gibbs of Cedar Rapids; four sons, Herman J. Feldmann of Centralia, and Rudolph H., Al C. and Leander J. Feldman, all of Dubuque; 26 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Schafer of Petersburg, Neb.; and two brothers, Henry A. and Clem X. Fangmann, both of Dyersville.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Clara.
